A few weeks ago, I caused scratches and dents to my 2016 Volvo station wagon by turning too sharply around a corner of a wall on the ramp of an underground parking garage. The damage is to the rear right door, part of the rear right quarter panel, a section of the door sill, and the door handle. An assessor commissioned by my comprehensive insurance company suggested repairing the damage by cutting out and replacing the rear quarter panel and the sheet metal parts and door handle of the rear right driver's side door (repair according to manufacturer's specifications). The prospect of potenti
