Mr. Berheide arrived more than punctually for the appointment. It was a very pleasant conversation. After I described my problem (a damp interior wall in the floor area by the side entrance door to the courtyard), he immediately identified the likely source of the issue. He suggested that the water causing the damp patch wasn't entering the house through the exterior wall. He advised me to hold a hose against the exterior door.
