This kind of price gouging seems to have become part of the system and the norm, especially at some auto repair shops. I was there today with my Mini Cooper S for a transmission fluid change. Over the phone, I was quoted a price of €250 and given an appointment for 10:00 AM. It was supposed to take about 1.5 hours, so I could have waited for my car. Ultimately, I couldn't pick it up until 2:30 PM, and then I was charged an inflated price of €300, which wasn't what we had agreed upon. ...Honestly, the whole point of choosing an independent garage is that they're cheaper than authorized dealers

I had a really good experience there last week and can recommend everyone to go there because they cater to the customer and fix REAL problems!! I went to my authorized workshop (Ford) and they read the error log. I was told that a control module was faulty, which wasn't true as it was simply the car battery!! Schittkowski fitted me with a new battery and then programmed it. The result: I'll never go to an authorized workshop again because I saved €1500-2000 thanks to the perfect service!! The problem never occurred again and the car passed the MOT without any problems. I will be happy to use
