I was driving from the Stuttgart area to Munich when, after about 60% of the journey, I was stuck in 4th gear because I couldn't engage 5th. It was a 1989 Golf 2 GL. After about 10 minutes of searching, they explained the problem (the symptom was fixed, but not the underlying issue, which their own mechanic can resolve), so I was able to drive back using 5 gears. Very friendly & competent. We had the Jetronik K of our 1992 Scirocco GT2 repaired in 2021. The car has been running like clockwork ever since. In May 2025, Tom's Art Garage changed the timing belt, water pump, brake fluid, and oil. The guys are knowledgeable and have a knack for classic and vintage cars. We'll be happy to come back.

After about four weeks' notice, I had an appointment at Tom's Art Garage on September 27, 2023. The purpose of the appointment was to repair my odometer and a shaky speedometer needle while driving. I had previously inquired about the cost by phone and was told it would be between €500 and €600. They estimated 14 days for the repair, as the speedometer had to be sent to a specialist.
