The employee I spoke to during the initial meeting was friendly and everything sounded promising. However, after more than a week without a response to my email, I had to choose a different company to proceed. Sometimes things need to move faster, or at least as a customer, you need to know that someone is addressing your concerns.

I first encountered the company during the construction of a new single-family home. The initial planning wasn't yet complete when the contract was awarded, so V.D.E. had to take over part of the planning. The project involved a high-end design where the client could later control all the technical systems (heating, sauna, ventilation, lighting, doors, cameras, etc.) via their mobile phone. The planning and execution went very well, and the senior fitters, in particular, consistently prevented problems in the construction process with their innovative ideas. In 2021, we had the same experience as Mr. Pascal Kautenburger-Behr (see below). At first, things went quite well. Then NOTHING worked anymore. No callbacks. No repairs to the faulty installation. And we're talking about a lucrative contract here: it was for a church. Only after I wrote a review criticizing the situation did we get a response. It was incredibly fast and from several quarters. And then it all started again: some things improved. But before the end: NOTHING. To this day, we can't operate our KNX ETS system because V.D. Elektrotechnik hasn't provided us with the software.
